Seeing is believing for Envision Eyecare owner Dr. Christine Blick. A Celebration resident since 2003, Dr. Blick is watching her vision become a reality at 502 Celebration Avenue, thanks to Issa Homes and Geoffrey Moen Architects.
The Mediterranean-style residence, situated in Celebration, Florida’s home business district, should be complete by early Spring 2013. Dr. Blick’s two-story residence has a unique design with a second-story porch and rear balcony overlooking a large courtyard. The 5,100- square-foot building includes a 2,800 square foot medical office with a designer eyewear showroom on the first floor and adds another 2,800 square foot luxury living area plus 500 sq. ft. garage apartment on the second floor.
“Issa Homes has been building in Celebration since 1997 and it’s exciting to have been part of Walt Disney’s dream community from start to finish within Celebration and now as we start in Disney’s Golden Oak at Walt Disney World® Resort,” said Issa Homes partner Don Hempel.
Dr. Blick plans to move Envision Eyecare from Water Tower Place to a new location in early Spring 2013.
“My new location in the home business district will offer a comfortable, relaxing, and inviting setting to meet the community’s eye care and designer eyewear needs,” said Dr. Blick. “I am thrilled to live and work in such a wonderful town.”

About Celebration, Florida
The Walt Disney Company’s real estate division created Celebration, Florida, a planned community founded in 1994. The Walt Disney Company commissioned famous architects to create the master plan and to design the buildings. The celebration has the flavor of a southern American village from the 1930s. About 2,500 homes cluster around a small, pedestrian-friendly shopping area in Celebration, Florida, often cited as a New Urbanism example.
Celebration Village is the original village. It encompasses the downtown area and consists of 351 home sites. It has a “home business” district in addition to residential areas.
